FOUR BAKED BEANS | |
2 tbsp. molasses 1/2 c. vinegar 3 cloves garlic, pressed 3 lg. yellow onions, thinly sliced 8 strips bacon, cubed 1 can butter beans 1 can green lima beans 1 lg. can B & M baked beans 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 can kidney beans Drain beans; save a little liquid. Fry and drain bacon. Saute onions and garlic. Add brown sugar, vinegar, molasses and dry mustard. Simmer a few minutes. Put beans in pot, stir gently. Pour mixture over beans and add bacon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (45 minutes covered, then 15 minutes uncovered); or microwave for 30 minutes at bake setting. |
