LIMA BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 pkg. frozen lima beans
1 lb. hamburger or pork sausage
1 sm. onion, diced
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 pimento, diced
1/2 c. buttered crumbs

Cook beans according to package directions. Drain. Brown meat; add onion. Cook until yellow. Blend butter, flour and milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Blend with soup, beans, meat mixture, green pepper and pimento.

Pour into 9 x 13 inch casserole; top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. Note: Pepper will be crisp unless cooked with onion/hamburger mixture.
