CHEX CARAMEL CORN - MICROWAVE 
12 c. Chex cereal of choice
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix brown sugar, butter, syrup, vanilla and salt in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Microwave at medium high temperature uncovered to a boil. Then cook full power 2 minutes; then add soda. Pour over cereal in large brown bag. Shake well. Microwave on full power 1 1/2 minutes. Shake well. Put in microwave again 1 1/2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
