BANANA NUT CAKE 
1/2 butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs (at room temperature)
2 large or 3 small bananas, mashed
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and beat in sugar. Add eggs one at a time and bananas. Sift flour with baking powder and soda. Stir flour into egg mixture and add vanilla. Fold in sour cream and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost with butter cream or cream cheese frosting.
