1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
50 chocolate kisses

Cream butter and peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls, then roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and press a kiss into the center of each cookie. Remove from sheet and cool on rack. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
