LUCY'S POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 6 eggs 2 c. flour (I use 1 of cake flour and 1 of self-rising) 2 tbsp. lemon Cream butter, add sugar and mix until creamy. Add eggs alternately with flour. Do not over mix or cake batter will be thin. All ovens differ. I bake in gas stove with foil on racks. 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Line bottom of tube pan with wax paper. |
