MARINATED BROCCOLI | |
2 lbs. fresh broccoli 1/2 c. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1/4 c. cold water 1 tbsp. dill seeds 1/2 tsp. pepper Trim off large leaves of broccoli. Remove tough ends of lower stalks and wash broccoli. Cut into flowerettes reserving stalks for use in another recipe. Place flowerettes in a large shallow dish and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over broccoli. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours, stirring occasionally. |
