AMARETTO AMARETTI CRUNCH 
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1/2 c. chopped amaretti cookies or other almond macaroons
1/4 c. Amaretto liqueur

Garnish: 1/4 cup of thinly sliced almonds to sprinkle on top of ice cream.

Soften ice cream slightly in the refrigerator. Transfer the ice cream to a medium bowl. Mix in amaretti and Amaretto. Immediately refreeze. Spoon ice cream into bowls or oversized wine glasses to serve immediately. (Can be held in freezer for several hours.) Makes 2 to 4 servings.
