BECKY'S JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Bacon drippings
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 can (8 oz.) cream style corn
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Pour into a hot, well greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
