MARCIA'S GALLON OF MUFFINS 
4 Shredded Wheat biscuits
2 c. bran
1/2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt

Soak shredded wheat biscuits and bran in hot water. Mix sugar and oil. Add eggs, mix together. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to above mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Batter will keep for a month in refrigerator.
