1/4 c. butter 1 c. flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. milk 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Grease cookie sheet with shortening. 3. Heat butter on low heat. Set aside. 4. Stir flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. 5. Stir in milk and only 3 tablespoons of the butter until dough forms. 6. Lightly flour counter. Place dough on. Knead 10 times. Roll into 9x5 rectangle. Brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. 7. Roll up dough tightly. Pinch edges to seal. 8. Cut into 4 equal pieces. Place cut sides up on cookie sheet. Press each into a 6 inch circle. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. 9. Bake 8-10 minutes. |
