CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE | |
1 c. shortening 4 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 c. milk 3 sq. chocolate OR 6 tbsp. of cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 tsp. vanilla Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Cream sugar, shortening. Add eggs, chocolate, salt, mix together. Add flour, then milk, vanilla, nuts. Pour in a floured cake pan 13 by 9 by 2 inches. FROSTING: Penuche: 1/2 c. butter 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. milk 2 c. powdered sugar Boil butter, sugar 2 minutes. Add milk. Let cool, then add sugar. |
