BLUEBERRY BARS 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling (or any flavor) (or 2 1/2 c. fresh, cooked berries, thickened)

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, stirring until blended. Spread dough in 15 x 10-inch baking dish, reserving some of the mixture for the top. Spread pie filling on top of dough, then drop remaining dough by teaspoons over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Spread on favorite vanilla frosting while still warm.
