OLD EL PASO TORTILLA DIP 
1 can (14 oz.) refried beans, mashed
2 or 3 ripe avocados, mashed
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 can green chilies, drained and chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 med. tomatoes, diced
1 can pitted black olives, chopped
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Tortilla chips

Arrange beans in a large, flat serving bowl or platter to form first layer. Combine avocados, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Arrange over beans to form second layer. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning to make third layer. Mix green onions, tomatoes and black olives for fifth layer. Top with cheese. Serve with tortilla chips that won't break easily, serves about 20.
