MONTREAL TRIFLE 
1 pkg. lady fingers or angel food cake, broken up
2 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. strawberries, fresh or frozen
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 pt. heavy whipped cream or ice cream

Line dish with lady fingers. Prepare pudding according to directions on package, adding 1 egg and vanilla. Pour pudding onto fingers and cool. Pour strawberries on top of pudding. Top with whipped cream prepared with 1 tablespoon sugar. Refrigerate and serve cold. Recipe can be doubled or tripled. Serves 10.
