CHERRY TORTE 
BOTTOM LAYER: :

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. flour

SECOND LAYER:

8 oz. soft cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
2 pkg. Dream Whip

THIRD LAYER:

1 can cherry pie filling

Mix butter, brown sugar, nuts and flour. Press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, then crumble with fork and press down.

Mix cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar. Mix 2 packages of Dream Whip according to directions. Fold into cheese mixture. Spread over crust; let set 2 hours. Spread cherry pie filling on top. Chill 4 hours before serving. 24 servings.
