2 c. sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. milk
4 lg. tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, boil for two or three minutes until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Add 5 or 6 tablespoons of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of butter. Beat until it starts to form. Pour into 8"x8" square buttered pan.
