2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. each: soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice

Put all ingredients in bowl, mix well. Add: 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 jar baby food prunes. Bake in a greased tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Glaze: Mix in saucepan 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1/2 stick butter, 1 teaspoon baking soda. Cook for 2 minutes after it comes to a boil. While cake is hot, pierce deeply and pour all of the glaze over the top. Cool cake in pan.
