MAMMA'S CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening or oil
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
1 box powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, cocoa, and flour in large mixing bowl. In saucepan, combine water, oil, and butter. Bring to a boil. Pour into flour mixture and stir well. Beat eggs; add milk and vanilla. Add this to flour mixture and stir well. Bake in greased cake pan for 30 minutes or until done. Have icing ready when cake is done. Combine butter, cocoa, and milk in saucepan. Cook over low heat until butter melts. Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and pecans. Pour over hot cake.
