MICROWAVE TOFFEE 
1 (2 1/4 - 2 1/2 oz.) pkgs. slivered almonds
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. water
6-8 oz. Hershey bar

Butter a 12"x14" area on a cookie sheet. Cover with the almonds. Combine sugar, salt, butter and water in large glass bowl. Microwave on high for 9 to 11 minutes until mixture turns caramel color. Do not stir! Pour over nuts. Let set 1 minute and top with broken Hershey bar. Spread chocolate when melted. Cool and break into pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
