5 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stewing beef
4 carrots, quartered
4 potatoes, quartered
2 onions, chopped
salt and pepper
3 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. kitchen bouquet

Place all ingredients in a covered casserole. Make sure lid is tight. Cook in oven at 250°F for 5 hours.

The last 15 minutes add a cup of frozen peas and a small jar of drained mushrooms.
