OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 pkg. Jello brand vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and pudding together. Add flour, soda, salt and vanilla flavoring. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake in 325 degree oven for 10 minutes.
