MILD CHILI CON CARNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, diced
1 med. tomato, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 (15 oz. or two 8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can chili beans
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
1 lg. carrot, grated (optional)
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
Dash of pepper

Cook beef, onion and green pepper in casserole dish on roast (7) for 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on reheat (8) for 15 minutes until hot. Serves 4.

TIP: For hotter chili, add more chili powder to taste.
