BUTTERMILK YEAST ROLLS 
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. shortening, melted and cooled
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. warm water for yeast

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Add sugar. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast, buttermilk and cooled shortening to flour mixture. Mix well.

Roll out on floured board. Cut out like biscuits. Bake at 400 degrees until brown.
