MARGIES MUSHROOM STEW 
1/4 c. oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. cubed pork
1 lb. hamburg
6 green peppers, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato past
13 cans water
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 lb. mushrooms
Salt & pepper to taste

Heat oil and saute garlic and onion. Add cubed pork and hamburg. Cook 12-15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to slow boil; lower heat to simmer, cook 2-3 hours, stir occasionally. Remove bay leaves before serving.
