8 red potatoes (or more depending on number of guests) 3/4 lb. to 1 lb. American cheese Stick of butter 1 pt. whipping cream Cracker crumbs Cook potatoes the day before and refrigerate. Next day, peel and grate potatoes and cheese. Layer a buttered casserole with potatoes, grated cheese and butter. Pour whipping cream over all and top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
