OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter, soft
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

1 c. oatmeal
3 c. other cereal (Rice Krispies, Corn flakes, Raisin Bran, etc.), crushed
1 c. pecans, chopped

Mix and dip by rounded teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees until light brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.
