BEEF AND PEPPERS 
6 oz. lean round steak
1 bell pepper
1 sweet red pepper
1 sm. vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 oz. sherry
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. hoison sauce
1 tbsp. corn starch

Slice meat into 1/8 inch strips. Mix sherry, hoison sauce, soy sauce, ginger and garlic together to make marinade. In small bowl put meat and marinade mix and place covered in refrigerator for a minimum of one hour. (May leave overnight.)

In a small skillet brown meat in marinade for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix 1 tablespoon corn starch with 1/4 cup water. Add to meat and stir to make gravy. Slice onion and peppers. Add to meat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Serve over steamed rice. Makes 4 servings.
