MORE TIME TO SEW - LASAGNE | |
1 lb. ground beef or sausage 32 oz. spaghetti sauce 16 oz. stewed tomatoes 1/2 c. water 2 c. ricotta or cottage cheese 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 3 c. mozzarella, shredded Frozen spinach leaves 8 oz. lasagne noodles (uncooked) 1. Brown ground meat; drain fat. 2. Add spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and water. 3. Combine ricotta or cottage cheese with Parmesan and parsley. 4. In 9 x 13 inch pan layer: 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cheese mix, 1 layer spinach leaves and 1/2 mozzarella. Repeat 1 more layer - ending with meat sauce. Cover with foil (may be refrigerated up 1 day before cooking) bring to about room temperature. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
