OUR FAVORITE CRANBERRY - APPLE
SAUCE
 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries, rinsed and stemmed

In a saucepan put 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil and add cranberries. Cook until berries are tender.

QUICK METHOD: Remove from heat and add 1 (20 oz.) jar apple sauce. Stir until well blended and pour into storage container.

OLD FASHIONED: In a saucepan place 6 pared, seeded, and sliced Delicious apples and 1/2 cup water. Cook until apples are done. Mash with a potato masher and stir into saucepan or cranberry sauce. Refrigerate.
