MAKE YOUR OWN EASTER EGGS | |
1 c. flaked or shredded coconut 2 c. powdered sugar 2/3 c. crunchy peanut butter 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts 1/4 c. butter 12 maraschino cherries (optional) Mix well with hands. Form into egg shapes of desirable size. Chill egg shapes at least 1 hour. Melt in top of double boiler: 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips ADD: 2 tbsp. melted paraffin Dip chilled shapes into chocolate and place on waxed paper to dry. Use your creative ideas in decorating eggs. Use pastel colored frosting in a pastry tube to write names on eggs or make tiny flowers etc. |
