PORK CHOPS OL 
6 bone-in Loin Pork Chops (1/2 inch thick)
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Seasoned Salt and Pepper to taste
3/4 c. Uncooked long-grain rice
1 1/2 c. Water
1 can (8 oz.) Tomato Sauce
2 tsp. Taco Seasoning
1 med. Green Pepper (chopped)
1/2 c. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

In a large skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in oil; sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. In a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish, combine rice, water, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Mix well. Arrange chops over rice; top with green pepper. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours or until meat juices run clear. Uncover; Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

Yields: 4 - 6 servings.
