Beef bouillon cubes
Vegetables like: leek, carrot, onion, turnip, rutabagas, cauliflower
Celery seed
Parsley, cut fine

Make stock of beef, remove beef from stock. Boil potatoes. Mash in own liquid. Stir through beef stock. Add some beef cubes for flavor. Add vegetables and celery seed. Add parsley at last moment, after vegetables are cooked to desired tenderness. Add beef, cut in small pieces. Sausage may be added also. This is a very thick soup. You can thin it of course to your liking.
