SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
8 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted

Cream butter gradually add sugar. Beat until creamy. Add sour cream. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, beat well, add flavoring about 1 or 2 teaspoons.

Bake at 350 degrees in greased and floured tube pan, for 1 hour 20 minutes or until toothpick is clear (varies on pans and ovens).

GLAZE:

Use about 1/2 pound powdered sugar, small amounts of hot water and flavoring make thin paste and dribble on cake.
