ORANGE - CREAM CHEESE BREAD 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
1/4 c. orange juice

Cream shortening and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs - beat well. Add flour with creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Stir in nuts and orange rind. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean). Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Sprinkle juice over loaves. Remove to wire rack to cool.
