MICROWAVE KARMEL CORN 
4 qts. popped corn
1 lg. grocery bag
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Place popped corn in paper bag. Mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in bowl. Microwave mixture on High for 4 minutes. Stir twice while cooking in oven. Remove mixture from oven. Add vanilla and baking soda. Stir mixture until foamy. Pour over popcorn in bag. SHAKE BAG WELL. Place bag inside microwave. Cook on High for 1 1/2 minutes, SHAKE, High for 1 minute, SHAKE, High for 30 seconds, SHAKE. Spread on waxed paper to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
