BLACK CARAWAY KERNELS CAKE
(HABET EL BARAKY)
 
1 lb. ground caraway
2 lb. flour
2 1/2 c. olive oil
1 lb. sugar
1/4 lb. walnuts

Mix ground caraway with oil and sugar; set aside. Toast flour and let it go through fine strainer; add it to the mix. Knead all mixture together with water until smooth. Put half of the mixture in a tray. Cover with a layer of walnuts and sugar. Spread the other half of the mixture covering all the stuffing.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until cake tests done. Drizzle simple syrup (utter) over top.
