FRIED GREEN TOMATOES 
4 med. sized green tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Black pepper
1/2 c. flour

Wash and slice green tomatoes in 1/2 inch slices. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Roll each slice in flour until coated on each side. Place oil in skillet and heat. Place floured tomato slice in skillet. Fry over low heat until browned on both sides. Drain onto paper towel. Serve hot.
