PICKLED EGGS 
4 c. white vinegar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. peppercorns
1 tbsp. whole allspice
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 dozen hard boiled eggs, shelled

Combine all ingredients except the eggs. Boil slowly for 10 minutes, strain. Put eggs in a jar with a lid, pour hot liquid over eggs. Refrigerate 4-5 days before serving.
