TACO PIE 
1 baked pie shell, 8 or 9 inch
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 can refried beans
1 jar (8 oz.) taco sauce, divided
2 c. shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, divided
12 tortilla chips, crushed
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomato

In skillet, cook ground meat and onion until browned, drain. Add taco seasoning mix to meat according to package directions. In small mixing bowl, combine refried beans and 1/2 jar taco sauce, mix well. Layer 1/2 of refried bean mixture in bottom of pie crust. Top with 1/2 of seasoned meat, 1/2 of cheese and tortilla chips. Repeat layers, excluding chips.

Bake on preheated cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes or in microwave for 10 minutes. If cooking in microwave, wait to put last layer of cheese on after microwaving. Serve with lettuce, tomato, taco sauce and sour cream.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
