HOMEMADE CROUTONS 
1 1/4 sticks butter
2 1/2 tbsp. garlic salt
1 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
6 c. French bread, cubed

Melt butter in an 8x11-inch baking dish. Add garlic salt and Italian seasoning and stir well. Cut up French bread into cubes. Toss cubes in melted butter mixture. Stir until all is well coated. Bake in oven at 200°F for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned and crouton texture seems right. May store in plastic bag in freezer or sealed container. Can be added to soups or salads. Any fresh bread on-hand may be used.
