PARMESAN ASPARAGUS 
1 lb. asparagus, washed and trimmed
1/4 c. melted butter
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Bring a big pot of water to a boil, add the asparagus and cook for 5 minutes. Drain on paper towel.

Brush an oven proof dish with the butter and arrange the asparagus in it. Pour the rest of the melted butter over the top and sprinkle on the lemon juice. Turn the spears so that they are well coated.

Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top, add a little fresh ground pepper and a dash of salt, if desired. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
