1 1/2 c. bran
1 c. milk
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Soak bran in milk for 5 minutes. Add all other ingredients and bake at 350 degrees in greased loaf pan for 1 hour.
