SOURDOUGH BISCUITS
1/2 c. sour dough starter
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour (divided)
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix sourdough starter, milk and 1 cup of the flour in bowl (8-12 hours before you need the biscuits). Cover bowl and keep at room temperature. When ready to make biscuits, stir in 1 cup flour. Combine salt, sugar, baking powder and soda with 1/2 cup flour and sift over the top of the dough.

Mix well by hand. Then knead on a lightly floured board. Roll out. Cut out biscuits. Dip each biscuit in oil and place close together in pan. Let set in warm place to rise for about 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
