1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. meal 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt Mix dry ingredients, then add: 1 egg, beaten 3/4 c. milk Mix all. Drop 1 teaspoon of batter for each hush puppy into deep hot fat (360 degrees). Fry only a few at a time until just a golden brown. | |
