LASAGNE, SHORT-CUT STYLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
8 oz. lasagne noodles
1 jar Prego spaghetti sauce
2 to 3 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. cottage cheese

Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat. Add Prego sauce. Lasagne noodles may be used cooked or uncooked.

Place half the noodles in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover with half the sauce, half the Mozzarella and all of the cottage cheese. Repeat layers (noodles, sauce and Mozzarella). If noodles have been cooked, bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

If noodles are uncooked, pour an 8 ounce can of V-8 juice around the edges of the dish, cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
