MUSHROOM QUICHE | |
3 tbsp. butter 1 1/4 lbs. mushrooms, sliced 3 green onions, minced 1 garlic clove, minced 3 shallots, minced 1 3/4 tsp. oregano 1 3/4 tsp. basil 1 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. marjoram 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 4 eggs or egg substitute 3/4 c. skim or whole milk or half and half 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust (Serves 6.) Position rack in lower third of oven and preheat to 375 degrees. Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Saute mushrooms, onions, garlic, and shallots together. Stir in seasonings and cook 2 minutes until liquid is evaporated. Let cool five minutes. |
