BUTTERFLIES 
1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. cinnamon

Thaw out sheet of puff pastry for 20 minutes. Using a floured surface, roll out sheet to a 8 x 14 inch rectangle. Finely chop walnuts and blend with sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle sugar mixture over rolled pastry sheet and fold both short edges one half the distance to center.

Sprinkle again with sugar mixture. Fold each short edge again to center. Now press halves together. The pastry sheet should remind you of a jelly roll. Cut crosswise into 1/2 inch strips and place on a ungreased cookie sheet. (Cut pastry strip will resembled a butterfly.) Chill 10 minutes and then bake in 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Turn over and bake an additional 3-5 minutes. Cool and serve.
