POOR HOUSE SPAGHETTI 
6-8 slices bacon
3 sm. cans tomatoes (1 lb.)
American cheese, slice or block
Salt & pepper to taste
1 sm. box Mueller's thin spaghetti
1 med. onion, cut into sm. pieces

Cook spaghetti as directed on box. Do not overcook. While spaghetti cooks, fry bacon; drain on paper towel. Pour tomatoes into the bacon grease. Take a knife and fork and cut the whole tomatoes up so that you can mash them later. Add onions. After onions get done, mash. Add salt and pepper.

Drain spaghetti and add to tomato mixture. Use sliced cheese or cut American cheese up on top. Put in the oven until cheese melts. Serve hot with the bacon crumbled on top!
