JELLY BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add vanilla, then flour gradually. Beat well. Dough will be stiff. Form balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make a dent with thimble. Fill with jelly or preserves. Bake 7 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees or until very light in color.

just put the last batch in the oven. These cookies are wonderful, light, very tasty. I used blueberry preserves. Also, prep was so easy.
